Due to the high demand of students contacting The Sanctuary requesting the possibility of learning more about working in a wildlife environment, we are pleased to now offer the following training opportunities.  Students will be working alongside the owner and main animal carer at The Sanctuary.

Cost £60/day, 9:00am - 4:00pm

Includes training in:

• Wildlife feeding 

• Feed Preparation

• Diets & Food Preparation 

• Housing needs in captivity

• Intensive Care & Hygiene 

• Farm Animal feeding

£280/week - 5 days 9:00am - 4:00pm above and including:

• Basic first aid for wildlife 

• Equipment 

• Animal handling

• Animal behaviour  

• Orphans & Fledglings

• When to rescue  

• Where and when to release 

• 2 days working as an animal carer (supervised) 

• Fact and worksheets available

• Written appraisal on completion  

We are also happy to supply references to any student who has completed the full week, if required in the future.

This course must be booked and paid for in advance due to limited spaces available. In the event of a cancellation less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course, no refund will be offered.
